I'm a Brazilian based in London, UK. I leverage my previous experience in research and teaching to deeply understand user's needs and create an intuitive and effective user experience. When I'm not designing, I love to read (as you may notice from my projects), watch TV and films and play video games.
LitWave is a fictional festival that celebrates the power of storytelling in literature with talks, workshops, and other events.
The goal of the website is simply to inform and sell tickets, but I wanted to make it (and particularly the initial screen) somewhat "magical" to go with the tagline "Discover the Magic of Storytelling".
I curated the images, designed the website and developed it on Webflow. The only thing I didn't do was the copywriting.
What if Mary Bennet, from "Pride and Prejudice", was alive nowadays? (What if she was a millennial?)
I kept imagining her as a wedding photographer. She's artsy and an observer, used not to be the centre of attention. (And, of course, she grew up in a family where marriage is extremely valued.)

More coming soon...
